Electrosteel Castings Limited is a prominent Indian company specializing in the manufacturing and supply of ductile iron (DI) and cast iron (CI) pipes and fittings. It plays a significant role in water infrastructure development, supplying essential products for water supply, irrigation, sewage, and other municipal and industrial applications.
Manufacturing Facilities:
- Haldia Works (West Bengal): Includes coke oven plants, sponge iron units, DI fittings plant, and a waste heat recovery power plant.
- Other Locations: Additional manufacturing and processing units in India and overseas, catering to diverse market needs.
This plant includes a 324,000 TPA Coke Oven Plant, two 100 TPD Sponge Iron units, a 10,800 TPA DI fittings and accessories plant, and a 9 MVA Ferro-Alloy producing unit. Additionally, it houses a 17 MW Waste Heat Recovery Power Plant that generates power using waste heat from the Coke Oven and Sponge Iron Plants.
