NTPC SAIL POWER COMPANY LIMITED (NSPCL) is a Joint Venture Company of two Maharana’s- NTPC Limited and SAIL. NSPCL presently has Business Units at three locations viz. Bhilai, Durgapur & Rourkela with an installed capacity of 1104 MW. NSPCL supplies power to SAIL Units, Union Territory of Dadra & Nagar Haveli, Union Territory of Daman & Diu and Chhattisgarh State. Further, NSPCL is also foraying into green energy with an expansion plan of 530 MW in Solar.

AGE LIMIT:
Upper Age limit is 30 years as on last date of online application.
EMOLUMENTS & PLACEMENT:
- Consolidated fixed monthly pay of Rs. 60,000/- inclusive of all statutory compliances.
- HRA/Company accommodation (subject to availability) shall be provided as per company rules.
- On official tour, the company will reimburse TA/DA as applicable
- For HRA, TA/DA etc. they shall be treated at par with W7 Grade entitlement
- Medical facilities for Self and dependents will be extended during the term of engagement. The criteria of dependency shall be as per company rules.
- The period of Fixed Term Engagement shall be up to a period of 3 years initially and can be extended up to 2 years based on organizational requirements and the performance of the FTE.
PLACEMENT:
The Selected candidate shall be placed as per identified locations. However, in case of requirement, NSPCL reserves right to place the candidate as per company
requirement in any of projects / stations including Subsidiaries / JV companies of NSPCL.
SELECTION PROCESS:
1 stage: Computer Based Test (CBT) followed by 2 stage – Skill Test.
- 1 Stage – Written test in CBT mode- The CBT test shall consist of 120 question. 40 Questions will consist of MCQs from General Knowledge, English, Quantitative Aptitude, Reasoning and rest 80 questions shall be MCQs from trade / discipline specific questions. The qualifying marks for the written test are 40%.
- 2 stage – Based on the performance in the written test, candidates shall be shortlisted discipline wise in order of merit, based on the call ratio of 1:5 for the skill test. However, 2nd stage skill test will only be qualifying in nature. The qualifying marks of skill test are 40%.
- The final merit list will be prepared based on the marks of CBT test of those candidates who qualify in the skill test.

- Read the instructions carefully and fill-in the online application form giving accurate information. After successful registration, system will generate a Unique Registration Number. Candidates are required to keep the printout of the Registration slip that will be generated by the system after successful
registration. - Candidate belonging to General category is required to pay a non-refundable registration fee of Rs. 300/-. The candidates from SC/ST/PwBD/XSM category and female candidates need not pay the registration fee.
