Staff Selection Commission (SSC) is inviting eligible candidates to apply online for 1324 posts of Junior Engineer. All candidates who have necessary eligibility standards may submit an online application by 16-08-2023. Applicants must include all relevant personal and academic information in their online application.

• Ministry of Ports, Shipping & Waterways (Andaman Lakshadweep Harbour Works)
• National Technical Research Organization(NTRO)

Important Date:-

• Last date and time for receipt of online applications : 16-08-2023 (2300 hours)
• Date of Application Form Correction and online payment of Correction Charges : 17-08-2023 to 18-08-2023 (2300 hours)
• Tentative schedule of Computer Based Examination (Paper-I) : October, 2023

Mode of Recruitment :-

The Computer Based Examination will be have two papers i.e. Paper-I and Paper-II.

• Paper-I Computer Based Examination : duration of exam will be 2 hours
  • General Intelligence and Reasoning : 50 questions of 50 marks
  • General Awareness : 50 questions of 50 marks
  • Part-A: General Engineering (Civil & Structural) or Part-B: General Engineering (Electrical) or Part-C: General Engineering (Mechanical) : 100 questions of 100 marks
• Paper-II Computer Based Examination : duration of exam will be 2 hours
  • Part-A: General Engineering (Civil & Structural) or Part-B: General Engineering (Electrical) or Part-C: General Engineering (Mechanical) : 100 questions of 300 marks

The questions will be set both in Hindi & English.

Fee Structure :-

Women candidates and SC/ST/PwD/Ex-Servicemen candidates are exempted from payment of fee.

Application fees of Rs 100/- is to be paid online by using debit card, credit card or net banking.

How to Apply :-

Online applications may be submitted using the provided facility on or before 16-08-2023. Read the instructions thoroughly before completing the application. The candidate should complete the online application with all of their personal and educational information in the appropriate areas based on their certificates. Applicants must upload a scanned picture and signature to the online application. A hardcopy of the online application should be preserved for future reference.
