Job Description

Role: As the Manager of In-Plant Quality Assurance, you will be the vanguard of quality, spearheading initiatives that refine our manufacturing excellence. Your mission is to analyze, innovate, and elevate our processes to deliver unmatched quality in our automotive creations.

Education: Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Automobile Engineering

Experience: A seasoned professional with 8 -13 years of experience in mechanical/automobile manufacturing

Responsibility:

• Lead defect analysis and implement robust countermeasures for continuous improvement.
• Champion the quality of new models, ensuring excellence from trial to launch.
• Execute rigorous process audits, identifying areas for enhancement.
• Benchmark and infuse industry best practices into our processes.
• Prepare & manage control plans, ensuring meticulous execution of activities.
• Facilitate strategic management reviews, collaborating with top-tier plant leaders.
• Propel cost reduction and value engineering initiatives.
• Cultivate a culture of skill development and technical mastery within the team.

Competency Requirements:

Technical/Functional:

Exceptional analytical acumen and a systematic approach to problem-solving.
Comprehensive expertise in automotive manufacturing operations.
Proficiency in contemporary tools such as MS Office and Power BI.
A solid grasp of ISO 9001/14001 standards.
Adept at New Product Development (NPD)/Mass Production quality assessments and stabilization.

Specific Expertise for Functional Area:

Mastery of analytical tools like Six Sigma, SPC, and 7 QC Tools.
Skilled in advanced problem-solving methodologies such as 8D Analysis, DMAIC, and Toyota A3.
