Responsibility and accountability for the Engineering function which will include people of all engineering discipline viz. Mechanical, Electrical, Instrument & civil, assets and budgetary management. Undertaking modification works, Minor capex’s, overseeing plant reliability.

Candidate should have min. 08 years of post-qualification experience of Inventory management / stores management in Chemical / Engineering industry.

He / She will be responsible for GRV verification and passing, weigh bridge operations, timely disposal of scrap and related functions of stores.

The candidate is expected to coordinate with purchase / user department for maintaining safety, security & housekeeping of inventory and maintaining it to optimum level.

The candidate should be able to adhere to audit schedule and compliances of audit requirement.

The incumbent will be responsible for managing the warehouse of costly raw material and handling of material to minimize losses.

Knowledge of ISO documentation and exposure to IMS process and documentation is desirable.

The incumbent should play important role in Inventory Control

The candidate should have minimum 5 years of work experience in strategic procurement, vendor management in Chemical / Mechanical Industry in Purchase Dept. He/ She should be conversant with best procurement practices, various terms used in the procurement, taxation etc. and have knowledge of cost estimation, market prices to ensure price reasonability etc.

The candidate will be responsible for within time and budget procurement, coordinate with users & suppliers and act as strong link between them to resolve issues. He / She should ensure availability of material from suppliers with all necessary documents and co-ordinate with stores for timely inspection and return of rejected material to the supplier. He should be able to look after the payment to suppliers and preparation of reports. He / She should have experience of working on SAP & reverse auction technique, computer literacy mainly MS office, Word, excel, power point.
